recomend changing your mind and getting a .17 hmr

been there done that twice a cz452 american 8 years ago and an arni 1517 thumbhole the other year sold both and went back to the 22lr  exotic calibres come and go the good ones stay the course

Not sure I'd call a HMR an exotic calibre? :hmm:

And a .22lr and a HMR are very different animals in my book!

whats the problem here,if you want an ooh thats nice toy to look at or want a toy to use,get a cz,most on here who actually get out and shoot stuff, all weather,s,all year, want and use a reliable, acurate, rifle that will do the buisness, use the cz,mine shoots win sub,s all night long, will put eley,s throught he same hole, all night,it does,nt make a rifle any more acurate, because it cost,s a fortune,it,s the numpty on the end of it,and i think most other brand,s use the cz barrel,go figure,so the choice is your,s,are you a user or a polisher, take heed of the peep.s on here who actually use a rifle, for hunting, well that,s my opinion, oki doki,,ian

ah, but the hmr will take vermin out at a much greater range.

Not on a day like today it wont.. next to useless calibre in my opinion it completely lacks versatility and just became something 'trendy' to have, most people i know either dumped them or never bothered in the first place

Just what versatility are you after, it does what it says VERY well, if your mates don't need what it does then they bought the wrong gun, I struggle to see anything trendy about it, it is a functional tool!:thumbs:

here here i for sure hit more with a hmr than i ever did with the lr but you need to be skilled to shoot one so perhaps a lr is best for some folks :tongue2::laugh:
