Any one read the countryman's weekly today about a man on facebook

It said his friend posted up the picture of him with a hare some mate that is fassy posting pictures of hunting on facebook that site of all places think of the link I will not be posting any pictures of my outings any more on this site you never know who looking it's a shame after all it's a hunting site

 

 

Not being funny, but do you not only hunt rabbits and post photos of rabbits? I think you are safe.

As you say Rabbit man "its a hunting site" a social net work for the hunting fraternity, it would be a damn shame if folk didn,t post pics of there days/nights out in the field ( in persuit of coney ) makes the threads much more interesting

Just read a magazine where a fairly well known person admits to coursing hares, no doubt he will be getting hassel for it.

I use both Facebook and Twitter regularly. I particularly use Twitter to update about my hunting. I also happily add photos because I don't do anything illegal so I've got nothing to hide. If my friends on Facebook don't like what I do then they can "unfriend" me. I don't go in for updating everybody about what I'm doing or where I am every half hour but some of my friends are interested and I do it for them as much as I like reading about what they are up to.

 

Social network sites are fine as long as you act sensibly. I'll happily announce that I'm going hunting but I won't say where cos you never know who's reading and I don't fancy some ignorant anti turning up a ruining my perfectly legal evening.

 

If you're not breaking the law then you've nothing to worry about. If you're deliberately breaking the law then don't be surprised when the old bill come a knocking

If you're going to put pictures of yourself breaking the law in the public domain, (even if it's breaking an unjust law as in this case) then it's hard to feel sympathy should the shit hit the fan because of it..

facebook the hunting life and all the other forums is there anyone vague enough to think that the antis and otheres who want to stop or intefere with our sport do not come on these sites thats why when people asking others to put up photos its always better to air on the side of caution .and not give them the ammo to feed their need to spoil our way of life .

im on facebook i hardly go on there,

havent liked thl as dont want the 2 connected,

and when i have dogs i just post pic of the dog so you can see what it turned out like nothing else.
