same as the others,, kids,,, sombody once said to me if you have a son, you have one to worry about,, if you have a daughter, you have half a town to worry about, think about it!!

I would like to shake your hand for the soup mate

well i dont have kids but i did save a kids life once.so i guess that would be up there.ive not been a great achiever in my life tbh.ive just done what i had to do and got by.im relatively comfortable

kids for me as well all grown up now but they have good morals values and manners .. on personal note to many to mention -- running the london marathon was notable - being a good son -- racing my old fellas pigeons after he died and taking the top honours at the club in his memory sticks out ..

Hi folks i was just wonding while having a bit of time of work after having lost my voice for a few days

i was just thinking of personal achievements to date, i had the pleasure of reuniting lost family members at sea with their families

on several occassions, i always prided myself on being a good friend not that that paid off... LOL

but own on dream has just become a reality of buying a plot of ground and starting to build my own home, sounds pretty lame but after four years of hassle its becoming a reality,

So i now own a plot of land 1 acre and my house will be overlooking the sea.... i have a long way to go but its a start

and something i have done by myself...

So now my question is for those of you reading this what your own personal goal or dream and have you accomplished it yet....?

Snap.

i retire next year looking for a place semi rural/near the sea on the lincs coast ... it was a dream that me n the mrs had years ago -- retiring early with money in the bank seems a far cry from our younger days when we used to tip the settee up to get bus fare for work on pay day ...

I feel proud every time someone compliments me on how well mannered my kids are. My eldest daughter is 17 and lives with her mum. She's always played hell with her mother who is way too soft with her, but she's good as gold with me. It's always been that way, ever since I split up with her mum when she was 2. When I tell friends what she's got up to they stare at me in disbelief and question how the polite, happy, well mannered girl they've always seen with me can act in such a way...

I'd fully agree with the general consensus of opinion above.

As you're growing up you think that the important things in life and the things you should be judged or measured by are your music taste, a particular talent (artistic etc) or your chosen career...and then you have children.

Within moments of my first child being born I suddenly realised that this was why I was here.

I would say my son (and first born) but he's only 14 weeks old so hasn't really done much to make me proud yet! He's a cute little fecker though.

I'm pretty proud of what I've achieved with my dog so far. He's my first ever dog, a lab x of indeterminate lineage. He got 2nd place at Gundog club competitive training day recently beating more experienced dogs and he's impressed a local keeper enough to be offered some picking up this season.

My two kids, Boy and Girl, are both grown up now, and I can honestly say that they're my two best achievements in life by far.

Though I didn't realise it at the time, I was anything but a model son when I was growing up, and I must've been a real handfull for my parents. Granted, my kids have had their ups and downs, but I've never been anything but proud of them.
