gnipper 6,467
Never bolted one but have had one to ground with a ferret and I suppose i'm lucky the ferret came away from it and the terrier didn't Quote Link to post
Sirius 1,391
Yes bolted one last season with the stinkers, it bolted well then it was headed by the dogs and went back to ground. We continued to work the warren with 6-8 ferrets and never saw or heard a thing from the fox, all ferrets came away unscathed. Quote Link to post
The one 8,477
Doing a banking once and a fox bolted got the net back on the first fence and had a scarey 30 minutes till i got all six jills out unmarked , The next time put a jill in a three holer and five minutes later a foxes head showed at the hole dug it out a vixen with three cubs and my ferret cut along the ribs and one eye hanging out . No smell of charlie either time Quote Link to post
