when its a clear cut case like hyndley/tobin/black/huntlly.then they should be jailed and thrown into main stream prison.if thats a death sentence to them so be it.i just dont think the state should be killing people.someone who hasnt actually physically abused a child,but lets say downloaded child porn,then if they knew they wuld be jailed and mixing with every day criminals.i think they would refrain from downloading that filth.thing is they know on the whole they are protected,and lets be honest,i shudder to think the kind of chats those c**ts have inside.take away thier sense of security and i bet you would see a decline in this filthy behaviour.

I don't think someone who has downloaded child porn should be killed, but they should definitely be castrated. The fact is your sexuality is in your genes, if you're attracted to kids then you always will be and you will never be safe around kids......so the only alternative to permanent imprisonment or death is to remove your sexual urges. It'd be like if all of a sudden they now made it illegal for blokes to have sex with women (or blokes in Judges case), that desire wouldn't go away because it's illegal, it would always be there and the temptation would never go away....unless you lost your spuds!

 

 

I know exactly what they do with people who '' download'' child porn, they stick then in prison for a bit then they let them come back home , then find them a job & when the locals smash his windows the law take that very seriously , in fact MORE seriously than the child porn , i know all this because HE lives over the road from me , yes a convicted criminal who served time for having '' indecent'' images of kids on his pc & whats ironic is he was a SCREW at a young offenders place

To be honest I have had one '' to do'' with him , something I have never talked about publicly before , all this happened about 10 years ago , the local free rag had it on the front page about this bloke Keith Locke & that all his vast pc equipment had been confiscated in an early morning raid , apparently they used one of them '' front door keys'' they use to gain entry

 

Cutting a long story very short he was convicted of having a whole load of indecent images on several pc's & was put on the peado register, I cant remember how long he was send down for but including remand he was missing for about 12 months

 

When it became apparent he had been released the house was damaged regularly , doors & windows put thorough, graffiti all over the place that kind of thing , i live in a cul de sack & he lives in the last house by a gully to the main road , so kids would come up the gully & sling eggs at his windows almost daily & leg it down the gully

 

basically he had the f****n audacity to knock on my door 2 years ago new years eve & proceed to tell me that my eldest lad was one of them that was damaging his property , as my lad hadn't lived here for almost 8 & that I had no idea where the lad was , for a scrawny little twat he had an attitude , red rag to a bull folks like that to me .

 

he claimed that there had been half a dozon '' youths'' buying eggs from the co op & my son was on there cctv , he had got the police to get them to run it back to pick out the youths , so i managed to get in touch with my lads dad & he said that the night in question the lad , his dad & step mother had been in the local club & that the place was heaving & said if the wanker wants to pursue it the police can interview the 150 witnesses in the club on that night

 

I was savage at this point , 1 because i stopped my ex from caving his head in & 2 because I had doubted my son because he was a little shit & yes he had got into scrapes & i had the police here a fair few times for minor things , even to this day i got no apology from that wanker

 

And even scarier is HE HAS A BEARD

Hopefully one day someone will do the right thing and plug him Kay, then you can have a bit of peace of mind.

I'm just making the point that non of us here are qualified to make judgements re the punishment metted out.

I for one think that for him to be disembowelled in a cell by two characters of dubious backgrounds is not the way a civilised society should behave or allow And certainly NOT something that we should be applauding.

I forget who said it ( Homer, Aristotle or Plato) " a society should be judged by the way they treat their criminals (prisoners)".........Wise words.

However these characters are a product of our society and as a society we have to take responsibility for them.......In simplistic terms, Its our fault.

We need to change society and you can only change society by being a part of it. There are no easy answers. if there were we'd all be living in Nirvana.

Killing people for crimes does not solve the problem it just brushes it under the carpet.

It was once a capital punishment for hunting deer...................It didn't stop it though.

Stangely, it was once legal to marry a 13 yo.. Society changed that...........NOT the death sentence.

Sadly the law protects scum bags like him making them almost '' untouchable'' victims are usually given a far harder time than the perpetrator, Millie Dowlers mother for example was treated appallingly by the police

 

Another classic example is Winnie Johnson , Keith Bennetts mother , the womans dying if cancer & she has appealed to Ian Brady to help find Keith body on saddle worth moor in the hope that she could lay him to rest before she dies, that woman has faught for 45 years for justice for KEITH

i understand that previous convictions are taken into consideration,but the gun and knife sentences are for first time offenders.
