Hi all has any one else been invaded with these little blood suckers??

I have been battling all summer with them, I use stronghold/ frontline every four weeks which is more than recommended, and it dies help, but I can't seem to rid them from my bitch??

It's even worse now we have started checking earths as any that are lurking down there are jumping on her?!!

Does anyone have any help and advise as what methods can be successful??

I have looked into using garlic tablets on her diet, anyone tried them??

Thanks

Duramytex, they don't sell the original anymore but if you can get your hands on it you can't beet it, i keep some diluted in a spray bottle and spray them when needed or when you get back in.

Excellent stuff, cant get the neat stuff anymore, but I found a bootle unopened up the shed earlier strangely enough, oh happy days, forgot i had it. Used to use it on the pigeons, ferrets every bloody thing. No wonder they stopped selling the neat stuff, it was too bloody good. And no, its not for sale lol. the aerosoll stuff is meant to be good as well, but not a patch on the undiluted stuff, one bottle to 2 galls of water, top drawer stuff Busterdog, I totally agree.

Having said that though, I had a terrier bitch a while ago that would get covered in them, even though her and the rest of the yard were done regularly, the others were free of mechanical dandruff but she wasn't. Spoke to the vet and he said that he'd been in touch with the manufacturers and they told him that it didn't work every time on every dog. Food for thought.
