Daz 7 563
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1dC0wI3kwA Out again with Ninja Pete Bassslayer , Only shot 2 Rabbits 1 @ 56 yards normal without Scope cam and the other with scopecam @ 45 yrds. Verdict from a Novice scope cam user ~ 1. Great bit of kit when used right, Not like me having shot the 56 yrd Rabbit first decided to Use Scope cam which took me ages to Line up and get a fairly Good Picture on the LCD, Pete by this time had shot 5 . 2. A Pain in the Arse crawling into Position with Camera & Mount on Scope trying not to knock camera. 3. Battery life on Camera eat's the power when in Video Mode, Can't wait for my Sony DCR SR33E and the 2 spare battery's for longer viewing, As i had to constantly turn camera off to save battery life, then had to zoom in again for sight picture. Good points ~ Brilliant Fun as you can tell in the end of the Video when i was Chuffed it all worked. Really designed for Static or Ambush shooting as you have the time and not have to crawl into position or shooting by vehicle from a rest. Abit like a video Game as your putting the Cross hairs on the Target through the LCD. It can only get better with what i've learned in the short time using scope cam and look forward to more Hunting with the Kill Cam. regards D a z. 1 Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
hi Daz nice footage! i didn't think it would take you long? because i seen how you shoot! and also winning a trophy at the April meet ,i knew it wouldn't be long! here is a tip!! before you set about hunting with the scope cam, just do some range-ing on your focus (cam) and keep it set at that, just make sure you can see the 3rd/4th mildot in case a long shot presents its self! "being a member of the THL long range shot club!" then all you have to do on your stalk,is push the power mode on! the cam! get your self comfy and flick the screen out.this way your cam will automatically find its on focus! then all you have to do is adjust the parallax to range it. and you have a brucey bonus!!!!! well done buddy Davy Quote Link to post

Plus need more Practice before i take my 50 to 67 yard long range shot like i go just through the Scope. regards Daz Quote Link to post
