Millet 4,497 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Share Posted October 4, 2011 Some hawk's need to be flown off the fist and other's like the harris can follow on like a dog..the ones that follow on will chase/catch whatever you put up in front of them rabbit wise and will also spot rabbit's and other quarry what you cannot see which can be a advantage in some place's..ferreting bunnies is also a good way but for the best result's the bird need's to be flown from the fist in open area's if possible.. All the above is only possible with a properly manned and trained hawk.. 1 Quote Link to post
