mid.land.err 30 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Share Posted October 1, 2011 dont mean too come across as a little bithc or anything along them lines but this post is purely too warn others as i didnt have any warning and fell into his trap, i ordered a kennell off dd timber products about 12 months or so ago all done over the phone direct with the man him self he said he will need the full amount of money before he starts too build the kennell and me being a daft twat i am i agreed too the terms and conditions and he said it would be with me withing 2 weeks max, four or so months further down the line there was no sign of a kennell, he was ignoring my calls and emails, i managed too get a private number of his off a generous lad on here, i rang that number and he answered saying the workshop had been burnt down and he was back too working from home in the garden and garage!, another three months down the line i finally managed too get hold of him once again he said he didnt kno how too tell me but the buisness had gone into liquidation, after a handful of arguments me saying 'you must have knew you was going into liquidation before you took my order etc etc, he said all paper work will be sent through he sent me some details of the insurance company he was with and he said i will get my full amout back in my bank which was i think just over £400, but like i said its not far off a year since i placed that order now and i nearlly had totally forgot about it until i found the receipt yesterday so iv just decided too check out his website and it is still up and running!!! :censored: :censored: Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You will read all sorts of do's and dont's with this thread, but I can assure you the above will be your only option to stand a GOOD chance to get your money back. Then suddenly he went bust and owed genuine lads money that they had payed for kennels, etc !! A wrong 'un !!! Forget getting owt back, unless you are prepared to spend a lot on lawyers and wait a long time !! Theres an old saying....... "Let The Buyer Beware " !!
