lamping with the pups last nite

well me and a couple of the lads from the site organised to go out for a mooch about last nite it was not the best of nites but we went anyways we went and met up with 1 of the lads to try some of his permission he has not long just got so first field on with the lamp and thare was a ginger sitting but was not in for moveing so on we went and saw a few rabbits but we were not have much joy with no wind it was warm and it was also abit light so we went to another bit of ground and no luck again so we just called it a night and we had a hour travel to get home and we were going to try a couple of the fields on home and we did on the way to the fields the side of the road and what we could see thare was rabbits everywhare so we stoped the moter and on we went and this was like a total diffrent night from a hour before hand it was dark a slight wind and abit rain first field my mates 3/8 5/8 bull/gray was off like a rocket for this rabbit right up its arse gave it a couple of turns and it went under the gate with the bullx on hot persuit no joy that time next field eyes everywhare next run was a cracker up and down the dyke the dog trying thare hardest no joy then my mates dog nails a rabbit and this is the first rabbit we have had in 3 nites lamping so we were chuffed my mates ferrets had forgot what a rabbit was i think then my wee dog has never had a rabbit before we got a rbbit sitting well out so after getting him to see it off he went like the clappers and bang he gets it and lies down like a collie rounding sheep up and after a few seconds hes come back with it his tail and ears could not point any higher in the air then my mates bitch took off so up and the dyke again and she was doing well to keep this from going under the gate and bang she nails it aswell so we called it a nite we were both happy the young dogs done well the ferrets get fed and a forgot to say the cvar will need some cleaning becouse of that pup of mine shiting spewing in the moter what a smell in all a good nite cheers lads

glad yous got abit ferret, food mate, sorry that yous had to travel all that way for feck all! they have ploughed it as quick as they cut it here, wee bit wind and a bit cooler and it would have been a different night, the signs were there just nothing for a decent run! they would have heard us coming a mile away with that dry ground! i'l come to you's next time although the C is still a bit lame, saying that R doesnt seem to fussed about her leg although she doesnt really show if it is sore :laugh:

 

 

that pup of yours is quick! once it finds its feet it will be a flying machine! its jumping could do with improvement! i mean a 5bar gate and he does 4 of them!! :laugh:

 

44david44's bitch is keen, up on its hind legs everytime the lamp was switched on, hopefully get a night sorted for next week! :thumbs:

these things happen mate a wonder how 44david44 is arm is today becouse his bitch can pull like a steam train just aswell hes a lump of a lad to keep hold of her i honestly got a shoke when i saw how fast his bitch could run a dont think hes going to have any worrys about his bitch not being fast enough for anything

RM no problems mate it was never going to be a good night were ever we went.it was light hot and no wind you could hear a penny drop at a mile.it was worth the drive just to get the pups out with an older working dog.fingers crossed that the farmer gives you the rest of the land and we will get up and help you with it.a just wish a took that muffin a was starvin by the time we were 5 mins down the road.lol

 

lucy my arm was dead when i got up the day.shes to keen for her own good as you have saw if there somthing in her way between her and prey shes gonig through it i.e 6 bar gate or dyke.lol .also think i was as shocked as you when she opened up she cant half shift.not bad for a ball of muscle.an all i can say about bawheed is what a great buy hes going to be a wee cracker.well he will be if he makes it past a pup because if he is sick or c**ps in the car again am going to string him up. but all joking aside mate hes shaping up to be a great dog and will do you well just need to get that bond strong.the rabbits better watch out next time because i think the penny has droped for buster bawheed.we should set another date for going out say late 2012 early 2013 by the time my arm has recoverd lol but i would not have mist any other way its all worth it when shes sliped.
