You could see the frustration in Matts body language, however he has a job to do and is getting a fine wage, so I can uderstand his resilience...he did well. It's a kill or cure situation. How easy is it to stick needles into a wild animal such as a badger? cost of traps, how much training is involved, how to trap them, how many to trap to make a difference, thefts of traps.... it's just not ethical to do. It is alot cheaper to cull than to vaccinate. I'm afraid once you allow volunteers armed with needles, peanuts and traps onto land then all sorts of trouble will begin to brew.
