pigeon poo 3
Hi all i have a daystate mk4 with a twink mark 2 silencer on it ,the problem is i dont think its all that quiet compared to my old s410 with weihrauch silencer, also has anyone seen or used a hugget silencer they look pretty nice but a little expensive thanks chris Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
That depends on the gun IMHO, the Twink mkIIis an exceptional pieceofwork on many gun's, but I have heard that some people find it's not so good on others. I have an AAS200 that originally had a bog standard AA mod on it. Now it has a custom UKNiel silencer on it (designed for my long barreled Springer) I've added diffuser material into the tube and baffles and it's made a great improvement, now I hear tink as the pin strikes and crack as the pellet hits bone. If I stand down range of it I jyst hear a PHUZZZZZZ as the pellet passes me. The Hogan Decimeater is supposed to be a very good one for air rifles as well, afriend has one and he swears its the best. And I have to agree on his rifle, it is. Tony Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
Not trying to sound daft here but have you tried going down range (safely) while someone else fires your rifle?? The rifle will always sound louder to the shooter with the head being so close to the action. Darryl 1 Quote Link to post
