GaZMaN888 68
Hi guys, I like where I live in Hertfordshire, I think it's a nice part of the world and through working in the gas industry I get to work away often and see some nice places. The countryside around aberdeenshire stands out in my mind. This week I am working in lancashire just outside a village called Brindle somewhere near Blackburn. FARK! Driving up from my hotel by manchestef airport thid morning and rt he scenery was stunning all the way pretty much and the only spoiler was that the m56 runs right next to the site I was on. You lancashire lads are lucky to have this on your doorstep, make the most of it! Cheers GaZ P.s if this doesn't read very well it's because I'm trying to write it on my phone

skycat 6,173
The further north I go , the more I feel I'm coming home, even though I've never lived further north than Lincolnshire. It must be in the genes! My dad was from Yorkshire, and I want to retire oop north somewhere: the further from here the better

Simoman 110
I think in the south, Hampshire, the Cotswolds, Devon, Dorest and a few other spots are amazing.......But then in the north i think the North Yokshire moors, the dales, Northumberland are stunning.............I have only ever lived in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire and Lincolnshire..........I must say my favourite counties over all are Suffolk/Norfolk/Gloucestershire/Hampshire/Lincolnshire & North Yorkshire.........
