baldockbanks courser 598
I tried to send you a message but I couldnt so ill put it here, I Own a 12 month bitch breed from Doxhope/cooklands Busard but not from trevor cooks bitches. Iv spoken to trevor a number of times by phone since I got her and I told him my brother wanted a deerhound greyhound to run when we go out aswell, I also told trevor what would be expected and what we will be running down our end with them. few months later a full litter sister to your 2 came back to trevor at 9 months, trevor rung and we bought her, there all peas in the pood and she is the same as your bitch in appearence. I dont know Trevor cooks but in my oppionion wanted put 1 of his breed in the hands of lads who will graft them hard rather than just rabbit bashers, so his stock can be tried and tested on what it was breed from, looking forward to a busy winter with them. 2 Quote Link to post

BOTH SHOWING GREAT POTENTIAL IN THE FIELD. Thats a poor looking Deerhoundy bitch, short coupled, short necked, narrow fronted and weak skulled, the dog looks a tad wider between the ears but is slender jawed and as weak looking as the bitch.A very poor representation of a Deerhoundy. 1 Quote Link to post

Not always, this is a site for open debate and discussion.Nearly all the posts on this thread enthused about the pups. Many know im a massive fan of Deerhoundy lurchers and id not wish prospective Deerhoundy lurcher owners to be influenced by poor specimens, which many are.Looking at these two it would be easy to believe there was Whippet in the mix,i doubt there is but the fragility and poor conformation of those two is not something id wish others to accept as the norm, thus my post. 4 Quote Link to post

Deerhoundys where noted for their strength, long back, long powerfull neck and a jaw suited to their frame, wide and powerful stance and an invincible aura,i didn,t get any of that from the mutts depicted, many did.No matter how those two stood would not have solved the majority of their shortcomings,as Deerhoundy lurchers. Its often seen as ill manners to be honest at times. 1 Quote Link to post
