personally i would have offered money for the dog back and then offered a pup out of him to the young lad. but thats me each to there on isnt it, your judgment of the situation obviously was to leave the dog where he was happy and credit to you for that, Does it not hurt knowing that the dog your reared is now with someone else though?

in my mind the dog was well gone so i was happy to see him doing well and i would be happy to give this lad another dog if i had a litter of pups going he seems to be good with them both (red)now called sid and his other bitch where in top condition.

Probably would have clotheslined him, then issued a elbow from the top ropes followed by a powerdriver into the turf.

 

Tough one that, not sure what I would have done. Depends on the dog really, if i was bonded or not.

Nice thing to do but a would of wanted the dog bacl but then agian 2 years is a long time. but all well and good if the dog is in safe hands .

there might be some on my old computer or on a usb around the house some where i will try and dig them out or i will get a couple if i go out for a lamp with the lad

Nice story, and i think you did the right thing.

 

Just to throw a spanner in there. If the dog had been handed in to the Plod and the lad had got him from a Rescue centre or similar, then the dog would have legally been his. What would all those posters who said "I'd have taken the dog from him" done then ??
