bedwhippet 164 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 personally i would have offered money for the dog back and then offered a pup out of him to the young lad. but thats me each to there on isnt it, your judgment of the situation obviously was to leave the dog where he was happy and credit to you for that, Does it not hurt knowing that the dog your reared is now with someone else though? If the dog had been handed in to the Plod and the lad had got him from a Rescue centre or similar, then the dog would have legally been his.
