deano26 16
Hi all, I am looking for a new scope for the HW77k, and was wondering if you would kindly recommend some? I have currently got a Simmons gold series 4x40, but would like a bit more zoom if possible, or even possibly adjustable zoom? All advice welcomed and since i Have got some money for my birthday may get a lamp and a silencer as well, will a silencer make much of a difference on a spring rifle? Thanks guys, Regards Dean. Hi Deano. As already said, depends on budget. Ill reccommend the Bushnell Legend to you, 5-15x40, have one on my HW95. Amazing scope for the money, crystal clear optics, and gathers the light well. One to mull over Bill. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Hi Dean. Bushnell Legend 5-15x40 and Simmons Whitetails are really cracking good scopes for HW Air Rifles. No question mate! I can personally testify with Bill and 77 Si from using these scopes myself. My Air Arms TX200 and HW80 FAC air rifles are still happily scoped-up and shooting as accurately as ever with these optics. However, I have a Hawke AIRMAX 6-18X44 SR12 reticle scope on my HW77 .22. Used/calibrated in conjunction with Chairgun. It's an amazingly accurate combo and gives me superb shooting in the field. I think, why break a winning formula? You should be able to buy one easilly with your budget and have a decent dollop of change! ATB. Simon Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Another vote for the SR Hawke, I have a Nite Eye illuminated reticle 6-24x50 AO SR12 on my Super Ten .177 and a 4-16x50 SR6 AO Nite Eye on the .22 Super Ten, Both chairgunned, both accurate, easy to use and cost effective as Simon said! deano26 16
Thank you all for the advice, one more thing- Chairgunned? Regards Dean. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Chairgun, you need to know the power your gun makes using a Chrono, then you feed the data into Chairgun, sellect the pellet you are using and it tells you the points of impact on the reticle! Chairgun is free and available from the Hawke website! Edited October 1, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
