Have you been to one?   Some toffs on a horse chasing a poor old fox untill it's exhausted then 'ripped to shreds by wild dogs'.   Sound familiar?   FTB

apart from the above, and it not really 1 man against a fit strong bull, as its lost alot of blood+strenght before it faces the matador. i dont mind what they do in there own country regards (there )

i would be all for that mate.but that is very seldom the case.these animals are bred to be shot, they are fed by keepers and basically not shy towards humans.there hardly wild animals well not in the r

Tradition comes in many forms, yes i love the tradition of foxhunting, but i wouldnt be interested in many of our other ancient traditions such as bear baiting, hanging/burning women who floated as witches etc etc

Oh I dont know, I think there is something to be said for it :D

As for the spanish and their bullfighting..........its their life so leave them alone I say :victory:

Mrs wilf is clearly not reading after the first comment  , and I agree with your second point wilf, i would never get involved and try and ban something BUT i do have an opinion on it, just i keep it to myself and at most pass it on here  There are a few fieldsports i dont particularly like BUT it would be hypocritical of me to comment and pass judgement as i also kill. Just to me i dont undersand how bullfighting is constantly linked to hunting, they are apples and oranges :victory:

For me a Sport is where all participants have a chance of coming out on top.

As you say tomo its not our Country so it aint our Business but it aint something that does it for me.

The same as Big Game Hunting, id rather stalk shoot and kill the wankers who are slaughtering

Elephants , Rhinos , Tigers, Lions ect ect ect.

big game hunting aint our country either! cant have it both ways.

Never mind the Spanish, what about those f*****g jocks?...........every year you see them in groups of up to 70,000.........drinking and laughing and singing while a group of dumb animals are slaughtered without mercy.

Its cruel and inhumane to watch but they think of it as entertainment..................I feel sorry for the footballers in the team!  :toast: :toast: :toast:

The very same wankers that pay fortunes to shoot a trophy elephant/ or lion that pays for the national parks that conserve the rest, the misconseption of modern big game hunting of men roaming the planes popng off elephants etc are far from the truth , the moutain grorila would be exstict if not for game hunting in the surrounding forest , , the whole of this country would have been without oalk beech etc woodland if not for major land owners planting for shooting and hunting few making some strange statements for pro field sports site :hmm:

anyone shooting elephants is a c**t,and wish them nothing but bad luck

 ...why?....

Because they are cute you clown!

In all seriousness I was speaking to a guy on a Ptarmigan shoot a few weeks back who had been in Africa shooting allsorts; and from what I could gather it is people like him paying vast sums of money to shoot a small amount of the population that is helping to conserve the rest.

But this has nowt to do with bullfighting, which I agree with Simo is NOT hunting and I dont even know if it could be called a 'sport' as the term sport usually means it is a two way competition.

I would call it entertainment  and I say leave them to it.
