A needless death , if the ferrets were in a run type construction & the dog got in it then i would take them to task over it, but to be honest if the ferret were loose in the garden & they got in the neighbours garden then its hardly a surprise really 2 Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I'm sorry to hear that. Ferrets are master escape artists and will often use the least likely seeming route to get where they're not supposed to. I wouldn't dream of leaving my ferrets loose in a garden unsupervised, especially if there'd have been a broken down wall and a dog next door.. Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
Sorry to hear that pal but letting them oot for a wander round the garden ain,t a good idea, theres always the risk they,l get killed or will kill wee Jennys pet bunny two doors down, believe me I know Quote Link to post

"Mal, can you come round? There's a ferret in the kids rabbit hutch and it's killed Smoky.." Luckily it wasn't one of mine, but I was bricking it until I went to the garden & done a brief head count.. Quote Link to post
