jigsaw 11,899
on a 3/4 greyhound,1/4 saluki? Not meant for the fens or such just fast medium sized fields. What ye reckon, would they have the staying power cause I think the gears wouldnt be lacking.Whats yer thoughts on this. For our type of country over here I think they would be explosive and possibly get the job done in no time.We have medium sized fields here and a full saluki is not geting the space it needs most of the time.Looking forward to reading your thoughts on this. jigsaw 11,899
thats the one bit i thought might be a problem, stamina.Graham a saluki/whippet greyhound isnt too far from an ideal running dog for me either.Would it have plenty of staying power?I wonder would ye be better off with a first cross after all.Just bouncing ideas around in my head,or maybe proven saturated saluki lines. If you get one from the right sire and dam ie a coursing whip to a coursing salxgrey! thats what i've just put my money down on, as up here we have small/medium sized fields to, and the job needs to be done asap! the bitch i just lost was a sal/collxgrey/bull/whip but she was very racy but she still missed a few round here"! You could get one with a dash of coll in aswell if you need gears, Quote Link to post
