The Irish Poacher 0 Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 I'm a butcher in a slaughter house and just wanted to no if what i'm bringing home to my dogs is ok to be feeding them or is to much of it bad for them?? WASHED AND POLISHED BEEF TRIPE LIVER KIDNEY HEARTS ETC. Are these ok to be mixed in with the usual nuts and caned stuff all the time or just now and again??? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

martin 332 Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 Why not use the green tripe mate it would be better than the processed,but I personally use offal in a % that you would find in any normal carcass ie. 10-15% as I feel that would be as near as is possible then to your dog eating a complete carcase,but then I feed all raw anyway. The Irish Poacher 0 Posted September 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 Gave them out the green tripe there a few minutes ago and they cleaned the bowls lads Didn't send it through the washers atall just grabbed a belly after the lads in the green room had emptied it and just cut a few scalps of it and hosed it with cold water.
