judge2010 196
it sounds like the terrier's the gaffer and just keeping lurchers in their place. Leave them to it.
Ideation 8,216
Got an old russel here that growls at any other dog, and if it's male and unknown will pile in without a thought, if it's male and familiar, he might pause for about 2 seconds before having a go. He even growls at people if the try to move him when he is comfortable / asleep. One hell of a guard dog though. Funny things is, he never used to be like it, but after about 10, just became a miserable fecker. Soft as a brush with people though.

Had my 2 on the lead, this twat was not .He looked at Bryn 1st , then tried to have a go at Tod. Thank feck Tod thought it was playing, the woman came over said he gets bit bossy, he is ok norm . If Tod had thought differnt (not playing) it would have been very bad for the jack

Cold Ethyl 63
Just keep an eye on them My terrier (Rip Blitz) pushed the lurchers too far one day and they hit back and this was the result it cost £1800 in total to save her life and sort her wounds and then she needed another op to be fully ripped out at another £800 odd quid thanked my stars she was insured. The really sad thing is my two adored her and would defend her to the death it was her that used to start the fight. Her injuries were horrendous and it was stopped in seconds she had to have a massive op to fix her badly puntured windpipe and she was really lucky to be alive had we not had her at the vets within the time we did she wouldnt have survived Dont think my dads ever drove so fast. She was loosing body temp and blood pressure and nearly died on the table.Ive never felt as bad as i did that day after the vet telling me she had an percent chance of dying under the G/A it broke my heart.I then after that had to split my house in two and they were never near each other again.Thats only one side of her cant find other pics but shows you just how bad it can go she was a tough old bird though she managed to survive it in the end and it was cancer that got her The 2 gits that done the damage Edited September 25, 2011 by Cold Ethyl
