To be honest there are not many people who can claim to shoot 1/4MOA all of the time, and a lot of competitive BR shooters would love to match your achievement. I have little or no chance of matching 1/4MOA every time, but the human error part is also in my opinion the greatest reason for poor grouping. Try this experiment, shoot a group at say 300 yards ( my average grouping at 300 yards with my .308 tac is 3.7" ), now drink a can of caffeine drink, shoot another group and see what happens to the grouping. Try the same experiment after eating a bar of chocolate. I have never met any rifle shooter who can shoot perfectly all of the time. I am happy to take rabbits at 100 yards all of the time with my .22rf, I guess I miss 1 in 20. A few months back, a friend and I were out rabbit stalking, we had seen little or nothing and were approaching a hedge with a steep banking on our right hand side. Two rabbits came trotting passed us from our rear, the rabbits were less than 15 yards away, taken by surprise and shooting off hand I took three shots at one of the rabbits missing each time, human error. A lot of issues effect the way in which we shoot, day to day stress, food/drink, general fitness, general well-being are amongst some of the human issues. We can "zone" some of the issues but some we have little or no control over. John Edited September 26, 2011 by HUnter_zero 1 Quote Link to post
zx10mike 137
i'm the worst shot in the world buddy to shoot .25 its on a bipod and shooting bag the less i touch it the better its the rifle thats capable of shooting that not me but my point is shot the same way one will perform one might not and in this instance it proves its the rifle or ammo.
