Well done. I'm sure if all is in order you will get your belongings back.

 

All this could be avoided if you call your station and make them aware you will be out lamping. This way you and them will not be wasting each others time.

 

Think about it, no call to the police, they get a call from from member of public that they have seen powerful lights in the field, off they will come in numbers.

 

You call them and make them aware, then they get a call, they would of already been made aware and not send any police over to investigate.

I`m not sure you should need to call the cops and let them know you will be out , doing something perfectly legal ! pisses me off that !!!.. just educate them, and if that means a letter to the chief constable requiring him to educate his officers in the law,, then push it that way,,, you can also put a claim in for money spent ,renting or buying a new lamp while they have yours,, as you need it to carry out legal pest control !!

 

The police are there ,,not to enforce law,, but to uphold the law,, so they must learn whats legal and whats not,, the only way they will do that is if innocent sportsmen like you push them.. claim for a lamp !

i wouldt have giving them the lamp, they had no legal reason ta take it offa you. they only took it outa spite. they cant be going around doing that, thats harrasment. they have bosses ta answer ta aswell. you should go down ta the barricks every day and kick up a fuss and ask ta talk ta the superintendent. even go talk ta a solictor and they will send them a solictors letter requesting your lamp back. if they gets away with keeping your lamp the will keep on doining it ta you and other people

Hey don't know about you but I work alot of permission and have permission slips for every one of them and leave them in car all landowners have a signed copy too, I had same problem once with them and got all my belongings back next day, you were not caught doing anything you were on the land with permission from the owner, and the owner also confirmed this to the cops they have no legal [bANNED TEXT] to take ur belongings, get onto head devision and make a formal complaint, this won't only help you but others too because when they check into things local office will be made aware of the exact laws, go to government web site and download full copy of hunting laws and take it with you along with a permission slip and demand ur belongings back good luck

i never phone them never talk to them and if they stop i ask for there name and numbers etc for harasment as im doing legal pestcontrl twats had lots of runnings over the years ,tel your local newspaeer your getting harrased over legitimate rabbit work and name them and shame them wanks , no love lost with them i remeber what the brave boys done on the hunting march miners strike 85 , saw them for what they are back then and now at times ,play them at there own tatics

ive gone down this route .its a waste of time .its the police investigating the police . get onto a firm of lawyers called russel and co church street malverns worcs they specialise in cases against the police they make theyre money in the legal aid side of things so just by responding its going to cost the police literally thousands of pounds .all for taking your lamp and battery plus they will have to compensate yourself for all the inconvienience they have caused yourself ..it will be a long time [bANNED TEXT] they bother you out lamping again .just give russel and co a ring they operate nation wide 01684 892000 .only this way will anyone ever stop this ongoing harassement by plod
