discobandit 9
Gatcombe Park Lurcherworld Finals Weekend Information. CAMPING Anybody qualified intending to camp over the weekend must contact Steve (07901562934) Wednesday at the latest so that your name can be added to the list held by Security. Anybody not doing so will be refused camping by Security. BBQ A BBQ will be ignited on Saturday evening. BBQ's, Charcoal and Plates are already in the trailer. Those wishing to attend please supply own food, to be cooked, the odd roll, a bit of salad etc and most importantly your own beer. FINALLY This will most probably be a hectic weekend due to both racing and showing finals and your assistance, if required, in making it run as smooth as possible will be greatly appreciated. discobandit 9
I was there with Lurcherworld. Didn't get to see much of the show in general. Didn't seem very big or busy. I think everybody headed for the coast as it was so hot. It was a pig to get to if you didn't know the area but a cracking setting all the same. If you want a giggle and to see the results of Lurcherworld follow this link http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/index.php?showforum=
chesterhunter 4
I was going to go for the two days but after I was told I couldn't camp for some unknown reason(maybe something to do with a scouse accent) I didn't bother and won't be bothering with lurcherworld again come to think of it :(
Cobblerjohn 18
I was going to go for the two days but after I was told I couldn't camp for some unknown reason(maybe something to do with a scouse accent) I didn't bother and won't be bothering with lurcherworld again come to think of it :( I rang and asked on the off chance of being able to camp but was told no because I hadn't qualified. To far for 1 day so didn't bother.

Leeview 791
lurcherworld are supported by lurcher and terrier owners throughout the summer at their shows with a view to qualifying for the end of season finals for big money WHY does it then become open to any breed of dog not just lurchers? When was the last time a lurcher won this £1,000 first prize? Y.I.S Leeview
Cobblerjohn 18
lurcherworld are supported by lurcher and terrier owners throughout the summer at their shows with a view to qualifying for the end of season finals for big money WHY does it then become open to any breed of dog not just lurchers? When was the last time a lurcher won this £1,000 first prize? Y.I.S Leeview I asked this question when my Mutt got beaten by 2 greyhounds at Thame and somebody said it was to do with the company that sponsors it? A valid point I suppose as they make food for all breeds. I thought a Lurcher won it last year?
mintstick999 485
Why does it matter what breed won, at the end of the day it was open to any dog, any breed, if people thought thay were in with a chance of winning, why didn't they enter.? IMO
