IanB 0
Was out with david tonight with the gun and decided to take the lurcher along, sods law has it first run out the 4x4 sees him full pelt over a metal sleeper and plummets 10-12ft into a dyke, I run along to the sound of a banshee, spotted the dog half sank in the beck thrashing around, I dragged him out without getting bitten, up the dyke and onto the field, luckily david was with me to drive the car and help me so I could keep him down in the back, got bit twice, not a very nice situation but we all know the risks when running at night.....we could of put him down ourselves considering the circumstances, but decided to head for the local emergency vet where he got PTS, his spine was broke as his back legs had gone, and whatever other damage he'd done to the front.... RIP SON, keep running.. Some old photos. Quote Link to post
