muddy210 34
Went out this morning to a bit of permission i have, took my boy with me ( i would of been better off taking the beatles and their instruments) well any way we got netted up and entered the small gill who promtly bolted no 1 of the day for us she then had no further interestin going back down so i swapped her for her sister and gave her a run through but again she showed no interest. moved on to the next set and got on with the netting up. bout 15 holes here but only a small warren most holes are close together with 2 holes mostly coverered by one net. entered both ferts this time and straight away bump bump and a 3/4 grown hits the nets this i thought would be the start of a few but sadly not. i think that the fact my boy was so exited about the whole thing (he could not keep quiet) the rabbits werent ever going to bolt got a good mark at 4 foot so started digging when i broke through the ferret moved out of reach and no rabbit to be seen. couple of minutes later she exits just a few feet away then the other came out about ten mins later. so only 2 rabbits on the score sheet but a very happy 8 year old that now thinks ferreting is the best thing going. cheers for now muddy Quote Link to post
