old timer123 367
like i said iv seen bedlintons beddy cross run things that bite back and id give you all the money too my name (which isnt alot) if you could get his dog too spew.... as for calling him a thick c**t your much braver than me Well im a brave boy No mention was made of his dog, that was never my point, what im saying is many dog will go out night after night and take stick BUT its our responsibility as owners when to say the dog needs a rest, as for spewing, mate as i said, anything will spew with fur on, EVERY dog has a breaking point, some break easier than others but all will break mate, no matter how good they are its possible to break them........ All historical in England now anyway........... not entirely something id agree with seen some dogs that didnt have a breaking point an saw some that are no longer here because they didnt have 1 an were in the wrong hands Quote Link to post
craigyboy 1,274
not this old chestnut again macky, have you got an inferiority complex about single handed dogs ive never doubled up,ever, slipping two 70lb lurchers on one 20lb fox and as for numbers, why double up,i go out with my mate and one dog each and when were lamping we just take turns,1st fox mine,2nd fox his,3rd mine and so on, and are the dogs fit to go out the following night...of course they are,a good lurcher takes very little time and punishment in dispatching old charlie,if your dogs taking plenty of stick when dealing wi charlie then maybe you should try rabbiting your full of shit whys that then smartarse is it because youve never come across anyone with a good dog,if you think im full o shit because of what ive wrote, then im thinking you havent got a fecking clue stick to rabbiting or carry on doubling up Quote Link to post

coney clucky 93
ive ran dogs single and doubled up and find that doubled up more productive as in numbers but injurys are often greater as the dogs tend to try and claim fox for them selves often resulting in fox getting hold of the dog and the other dog ripping it of it Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
what would be a good number for a good fox dog in a week ? pre ban Really? Who gives a shit? It depends entirely on your abilities, your dedication, the game on the ground, the environmental conditions, the ground you are running, the dogs abilities, the dogs technique. If you want a simple answer I will say 10 FTB Quote Link to post
