BULLDOUG 199
A lot of lads on here walk for fun, would anyone be interested in a serious long distance walk, for a charity most popular in a Hunting Life thread, maybe a dog walk across the Lakes or somthing alike. Just a thought ?? Also what happened to THL auctions? Would be good for hunting if a community this big could raise money for the more needy folk of Britain. Any other ideas? stitch 2
hi bulldoug good thread maybe for the elderly ? they seem hard hit the most and prob most forgoten about in the colder weathers ! just a thought mate. your thread caught my eye as a guy from work is doing the 'three peaks' he told me you do nevis then scar fell then snowdon in 24 hours ? apparently its a well known thing ,they were going to do it for a charity but im sure they are just doing it for the crack ha ha . just along the the lines of walking though this may be an idea to look in to ? all the best though good on you

B.P.R 2,798
Done the three peaks, done the highland way. Done most of them. Not through choice I tell ye!!! Swore down I wouldn't go near another hill/hike but if it's a good group going and it's a chance to walk the dogs then I'd put my past horror experiences aside to join in. Couldn't be something like the three peaks as it's all too much work organising transport etc. Something like the highland way here you can do a days walking and camp over would be better. Couldn't be too much of a graft or people would bypass it. Maybe part of the highland way and camp oot or something similar.
stitch 2
the thread caught my eye with the lad doing the peaks today that was all ,i thought its a bit hard core for him hes not a avid walker i expect ill here his story of it on monday at work ha ha it sounds a bit much for the average person even though he is trim , all charity work is good esp for the site .

skycat 6,173
Brilliant idea: the sort of thing to put lurcher folk in the public eye in a good way> plenty of publicity for dog men/women and the forum: I like it a lot  So who's going to organise it?

123456 146
Brilliant idea, could we not do several walks in different localities? That way more people could join in
craigyboy 1,274
surely this couldnt work,if this goes ahead then it would mean people off here would actually have to meet one another, just think of all the bullshitters, knobheads and hardmen that would be found out it would turn into a charity brawl,i reckon you should organise a virtual charity walk
