(hunter) forged on charcoal and worked by hand from there . the tanto is 4mm thick and has 5" long (blade) the hunter is a blade lenght of 4" long . they are both heat treated and tempered so will hold a good edge " both roughly sanded after heat treating to give you an idea , they both woul;d look good finnished in 400gr , but i took it higher for the pics . i want £20 for the tantosold and £25 of the hunter . these are all advertised else where so if you want them pm and i will let the first to say " i want that" will have it i dont get online more than every 2 days so will maybe have a delay . if i get on tommorow i will get the dimentions for you . hunter tanto at top hunter bottom hunter in the hand this is a file knife canadian style 9" long handle and blade the same length 4.5". ally liners and pins the ballance is where the first pin is closest to the blade, file work and black paper micarta , english calf sheath with small detail . £150 posted to you . next is a 440 stainless blade . 3 " blade 4 1/4 " handle brass bolsters and pins aged (deliberate) cherry scails simple sheath .ballance is where the hump is in the lower side of the handle . £75 posted Edited September 24, 2011 by midnight Quote Link to post Share on other sites

midnight 657 Posted September 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 (edited) thanks , i have added the correct measurments (they where right but i checked) they feel better in the hand than they look so gotta be happy with them . if you look at the tanto it has super subtle curves to the blade spine . thats from the water quench . its how all japanesse blades are done . the tanto and katanas are straight right up to the point they are quenched , as the hit the water they warp . this time i was lucky and got the subtle curve you would want !!! could have gon wrong and bannanad !! tanto sold thanks Edited September 24, 2011 by midnight Quote Link to post Share on other sites
