can someone clarify the law on working dogs/ ferrets please?

Recommended Posts

I've just read that no dog whether it be lurcher/ terrier can not be used to kill the quarry - fox or rabbit underground or above. but i've seen some where else that dogs can still hunt rabbit above ground and kill them when caught...this true? also, if a ferret makes a kill under ground, would the whole process be illegal???

if you have a dog that will go to ground and bolt rabbits well done Ive never seen one do it

you can legally hunt rabbits any way you chose and kill them with ferrets ,dog ,gun ect you can bolt or dig a fox with a dog as long as you don't use the dog to kill it use Google bud or the search button at the top bud works a treat
