Guest MOLLY
Who would have thought an innocent thread would cause such a kerfuffle Yes, PLEASE lets not have this thread like so many others turn into that kind of a name calling, argumentative post.....i know, i for one am sick of reading it on nearly every thread. And next time i just wont bother posting if/when another weird day happens for me. Wink hound and i have chatted about our views and opinions privately and completely understand each other... we now know each other 100% better and understand reasons, etc. So no harm done. Now can we please get back to discussing Millets little chopper, and how good he was at using it :ok: MOLL. Quote Link to post

Squirrel_Basher 17,100
As this is a hunting forum and a very good one IMO,PEOPLE SHOULDNT NEED TO JUSTIFY ACTIONS THAT ARE LEGAL.The killing of vixens and cubs BEFORE they cause damage are a recognised means of control around us and no guilt whatsoever is felt .The preservation of foxes by observing a close season is what helped to get the hunting with dogs banned .You cannot call an animal a pest that needs to be controlled one day and then preserve the young another .Year round control is carried out round us and still they survive .Ive no problem with hunting for sport as long as its not called control . You did the farmer a service Molly ,SO BE PROUD . Something else I cant understand about posts on here is that of accidental hunting which if Im not mistaken is lawful ,so why ban pics of accidentally hunted foxes with lurchers .It happens . In the past Ive been childish and slated peoples actions purely to envoke a reaction but not any more .Debate is one thing but negative slagging matches do us no favours. Good hunting all - Foxdropper . Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
Good post Foxy . I think this thread has been debated quite well but your comments certainly need to be born in mind to stop future ones decending into chaos like some earlier threads.. which will remain nameless Edited March 19, 2007 by LocalYokel Quote Link to post

woodga 170
an eventful walk moll well done for sorting out the mess and as said before you may even get some more call outs when the keeper gets the word from the farmer dont think for a minute if the keeper had know that they were there they would have been left in peace prevention of a potential predator problem is far better than sorting the cure once things have got out of control i would have loved to have seen millets face if the vixen had bit him you were lucky mate oh by the way on friday moll told me about your little chopper Quote Link to post
FAGAN 5
2 terriers no collors, and a litter of pups killed. classy! everything deserves time to breed. including lambs , think they call it pest control, Quote Link to post

Terra held it at bay, then Doris took over when Terra moved to the new hole Steve opened. Moll nearly caught it when it bolted just before it was shot, put it under great pressure. Khan caught it after it was shot and Jazz made sure it was dead ....hope that makes sense It sounds like a right mess but was'nt and actually served to make sure everything was over with very quickly. It was my camera, i always take it when i go out with the dogs, i often get lucky shots MOLL. Quote Link to post
