The thing is Daz there are fewer people out there with £750 odd to blow on a rifle than there are with £550 to blow on a rifle. That is simply what it comes down to, numbers, If they think they can sell more at a lower price they will strive to, it is all about perceived market!

 

I do not know where this perceived market is but I would personally like to burn the damned stalls down! The other half pricked up her Scorpion SE when they were new out (so new in fact they were not on general release), I think I could be right in saying only John Knibbs had them in at the time, for £495! They had about half a dozen in, but people were ignoring the new SE and buying the old Scorpion at £399! Mary went in for the old Scorpion and came out with the new one....
