topdigger 4
Hi all, I decided to get my arse in gear and started my ferreting season. I dug out my gear from the back of the shed and a couple of this years kits and set off in search of some action. Got to a farm that is over run with rabbits and the tennant is desperate for them to be shifted. I got to the first warren with both my dogs giving positive marks and netted up it was a nightmare under the hawthorn hedge. But it was worth it had a couple bolt from here and the ferrets were out showing no interest so it was off to the next sett. Again 100% marking from the dogs so me and Al got the nets out all 27 holes were covered. I entered my 2 little jills and bang one hit the net then bang another it was none stop action from this warren. The dogs did really well picking up 3 bolters which came out before we could get the nets back on. It was a great few hours i really enjoyed watching my dogs and ferrets work they are coming on really well. Hoping to get out again next week. Ended up with 13 not bad for a first afternoon out. Atb Tub. yo look like ya fat uncle robert there mushy how is the fat old t**t Quote Link to post
