I've got a funny feeling 2 of my best farms have been hit with mixy :(.. going to a third one tomorrow (with the air rifles for pigeons tho) hopefully that one hasnt been hit but it seems to be the most common.. If so i've got one more chance on a 4th farm.. and the 5th farm has nothing on it the farmer just likes the company :p

Reading a few other posts it seems that mixy has hit hard this year :(

least you got out mate :)

Well done mate, nothing better than bolting to the dogs. Nice and simple. Myxi is strong this year, f*****g hate it

fecking hate it to mate never a season goes by with out outbrakes of it does it lay dorment in the ground then?

As i understand it its carried by fleas and mosquitos. I guess the fleas stay in the buries and when the rabbits stop living out at the end of the summer and use the buries more they get infected, same deal with mozzies, bite an infected rabbit and pass it on. It seems like human colds, sometimes you're snotty for a couple days then its gone other times it puts you in bed for a week! Some years the rabbits get a mild version, a few with swollen eyes about etc and other years, like this year, with corpses scattered all over. I reckon its the worst this year i've seen for a long time.

Oi oi matey, good to see you again, from what i can see, the dog looks like it can do it's job, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. What's it like around stinkers? And how does it like the mad terrier? We should have a day and do a bit of bushing sometime when my fecking whippet has healed . . . . AGAIN!
