OUT TONIGHT

Jimmy and I where out with the lamp and the air rifle again tonight,this time I lamped and

Jimmy shot with his Air Arms S410.The wind was gusting making it hard for Jimmy to keep the

rifle steady,well that's the excuse he gave me.It was drizzling as well which he said was making his scope steam up

Anyway after four and a half magazines had been put through the rifle we ended the session with

nine rabbits,should have been a lot more but there will be other times.

I,it was a rough nite,thought about giving my brother Del a shout tae see if he wanted to drop some longnets.Still 9 is better than none,just sent of for my FAC liscence so hopefully i will be droppen a few in the next month or so. (did you get your pup fae Cockermouth??)

We should have had a few more rabbits last night Think it might be worth it

if Jimmy had a zeroing session.

Lurcher to lurcher bred Lindsay,a mixture of greyhound,whippet,bedlington,collie and bull.

 

Just looking out of the window at the moment,might take a walk out tonight again,the

wind is gusting and the showers are a mixture of rain,sleet and snow.

I was out again tonight this time Jimmy and Tam where shooting,we found it

hard to get near the rabbits,and only got the 7.

well done mate. dont know much about the guns but how much would you

say they are.

Both guns are Air Arms S410K.I'm not sure how much they would be new but would imagine

in the region of £500 for the gun,scope,mounts and bag.The one on the bottom would be

an extra £35 as it's a left hand stock.

The gun on top I was lucky to get second hand for £120,and that included the pump.

Brand new they are out of my league.
