hunting with webley stingray and bsa meteor

Hi i have got a bsa meteor and webley stingray knocking around and have never reakky considered hunting with the but looking at this forum i am thinking of giving it a go was just wondering if anyone on hear had any opinions on whether they were suitable guns to go hunting with

Chrono both rifles and see what power they are putting out. The meteor unless its the mk7 will not be full power anyway so if you hunt with that keep the shots at close range, if the stingray is accurate and putting out 10ft/lbs+ then it should do ok, do lots of paper punching first tho, springers and PCP's are very different to shoot.

i shot a stingray mk2 last year for a few months and it took many a rabbit but it was running 10 ftlb+ so good advice from bsa rifles on checking power levels first
