Metalman2 45
Went out for a mooch last night, i wanted to try out my Hawke Panorama after having altered the parallax, so now i'm ok from 10yds to 55yds. Not much about as the fields have been cut, ripped, and now the hedges have been flailed, need a few days to settle. Only saw four rabbits, all out of range, disappeared when i was stalking them, getting dimpsy and as i went around a corner on some high ground, i saw him. He was four fields away in one of my favourite sniping fields, to cap it all, he was wearing a brown coat and standing upwind of the warren. (do you think i should have a word) I know everybody has to start somewhere but really. Being the understanding chap i am, (quiet Bill), I'll let him get on with it, The fact that he weighed over a ton and looked like he knew how to use it, had no bearing on my decision lol cheers Rich Quote Link to post

Metalman2 45
With the scope blurry, i could't make out the breed, but he was a big chappy, it's a good job i have to ring the farmer "on the day" if i want to go lamping. I would like to think he would inform me lol. On the other hand, i could always send Bill in to test the water Quote Link to post
