Hi All,

At the moment I use Landywoods for the BARF I feed my dogs. It seems to be a reasonable price which includes delivery for orders above £30, the problem I have is the delivery dates are difficult and Landywoods themselves are hard to tie down on specifics which can be a pain in the arse when they deliver 200lbs of raw meat to my house and I am working away. Also they seem to run out of stuff often and just add to the order alternatives to make up the numbers

Does anyone use another supplier that delivers and ideally does the food in 1lb individual bags?

What can you recommend?

Thanks for looking.

I have started using Bulmers ,they are in Leics, their meat is very good and ,competitively priced.

Skycat has pinned a thread on it at the top of this forum . they have a web site so you can decide for yourself.

thanks mate,

They do look pretty good and shave a couple of pence per lb on most things off Landywoods.

I will give them a go when stocks get low.

thanks

Yeah I know what you mean, havnt had any food thats gone off yet but they seem to make the orders up as they go along whenever they run out of anything.

will be giving the bulmers one a go

Just to bump this a bit with a slightly different question.

Is there any where I can actually drive to myself in Yorkshire (pref the north) to pick up chicken mince/tripe etc are there any suppliers nearby?

Getting sick of waiting in for deliverys that never show

thanks for looking

Not DAF messing you about is it?

Never had any problems in years of dealing with them?

No its not Mol, this time its landywoods but tbh the orders / freshness of stuff has always left a fair amount to be desired. and then bulmers (before christmas) its just pissing me off having to be reliant on someone elses organisation skills, would rather take a couple hours out and just get it bought rather then fannying around waiting for someone not to show.

I will try DAF once I know what has happened to this order the last thing I want is for 2 loads of meat to show up and not have the space in the freezer for all of it

thanks
