no offence but if I was a farmer and had been for years, it would really get on my tits if a lad arrived at my door telling me that my stock was underweight!

 

But if it's worked for you then nice one! :thumbs:

Your obviously not a farmer then :D made him think and I followed up with "I dont know whos clearing your rabbits but they're not doing a right good job are they" turned out nobody had permission but I had before I left :yes: Just outside Leyburn North Yorks

from my experiance if the land is keepered then the best person to ask would be the keeper most farmers would point you in there direction anyway. often best on keepered land to get a bit of beating in a it gets you infront of the keeper but also gets you round the land.

 

getting permission half the time is about trust would you want someone that knocks on your door walking round your back garden without knowing them.

 

im not saying permission cannot be gained from just door knocking coz it can but it helps to get your face seen from a few people in the know as in all walks of life its who you know not what you know.
