secretagentmole 1,701
As some of you may know Mole has been laid lower than low by flu then damned bronchitis. Not a happy mole at all, so in my enforced absence from the happy hunting ground I decided to have a go at camo. I missed playing spot the rifle so I have adapted a scrim net for the two Super Tens to share... I will add more leaves later perhaps, but this is allowing me to get much closer to pheasants and it will soon be time when I can have a go at those (my permission holders raise no game birds for shooting, so I am allowed to take any game birds on their land)... But my main objective during my couple of hours down the permission this afternoon was to get the Air Arms set up, and having roughly zeroed it in I gave up after a prolonged coughing fit I had to give up for a while, so I took a photo of my £160 TX.... I had another go at zeroing in and became aware of movement to my left hand side, a juvenile pigeon landed down the track, having flown past at low level. So I put the TX down and picked up Mini Me, got a good shot off and managed to bag one rather scrawny juvenile winged grain snaffler... I kept on improving the zero on the TX but soon light began to fade, so I packed up, not a bad afternoon, I am getting used to the TX.... Quote Link to post
