ANDYELECTRO 3
Afternoon all, I just thought I'd ask you guys to see if it is a common problem or whether it is just my gun. I bought an AA S400 off the sale forum here 2 months ago and I've noticed that the trigger is extremely light. Now when I say light I don't mean a pound of pressure I mean Light to the point of it going off if you even stroke the trigger too hard. Putting on the safety is even a delicate process which isn't good. So as above is it a frequent problem? Can it be fixed to make it harder to pull the trigger? If so is it something I can do? Thanks Edited September 19, 2011 by ANDYELECTRO Quote Link to post
markha 99
Yes it can be adjusted to make the trigger pull heavier, the answer is in here http://www.airrifleshop.co.uk/Manuals/AirArmsS400ISS10.pdf Quote Link to post

RiffRaff 5
same sort of guide as buster linked on airarms owners but you might have to join to see it.using copper crinkle washers to replace the o-rings and instead of fiber washers. but to be honest i would do the full polish on sears then reset the trigger to the way i want it . i have done it to my s400 s410 an the s300 forgot to add if you gonna use copper washers an you cant source any drop me a PM Edited September 20, 2011 by RiffRaff Quote Link to post
ANDYELECTRO 3
Thanks for the advice guys! Will look into a couple of options this weekend, will try to tighten it normally through the screw next to trigger then failing that will take it apart and follow the instructions... just scared of not being able to put it back together haha! dammit301 0
i personally love the hairpin trigger of the s400. but I completely agree it is a bit like a balancing act putting the safety on. Quote Link to post
