my pup had a rabbit the back end of last season on his first night on the lamp last week was his first night out this season had 2 good runs but lost them in long grass still showin really good signs out tonight nice sqauter slips him smashes a can in front of the rabbit 1 got away and pup runs off manage to get him back next slip rabbit makes it to the hedge pup runs off again shine the lamp to see where he is straight a puddle rabbits scattering everywhere leaves me pulling my hair out !!!

Sounds like he still young and just learning,he soon catch on that when the lamp goes off he as to come back too you

Yes he's about 16 months he has always come back just tonight he haven't its frustrating to watch though

Sometimes pups go 1 step forward 2 back mate if you loose your patience you'll only make it worse and by the sounds of t your wanting too much too quick doesn't sound like the pups done a lot so calmly does it, remember if it's running the field and puts another rabbit up keep the light off or you'll only encourage it, it'll come good in the end

Out again tonight better fields 5 rabbits in the bag and he run really well some issues on recall but that will be sorted chuffed to bits we had 12 alltogether
