snoopy92 3 Posted September 18, 2011 Report Share Posted September 18, 2011 im just wonderin if any one could give me a few pointers. i have a 16 week old jill that i thought i had tamed. went out on the lamp friday night had a few rabbits, when i got home i put 1 ov the rabbits in the ferrets cage for her. I then went to handle her yesterday she started lickin my hand then BOOM she latched on n she wasnt letting go!! i had ferrets before when i was a bit younger and i am only just getting back into it. what could ov made my jill nasty could it be the rabbit ?? thanks Quote Link to post

My hobs easy going but I'd never handle my jill after handling food. Sounds like your hand might have smelt of either food or rabbit? Eating rabbit wouldn't make a tame ferret nasty in answer to your question. Quote Link to post
