RossM 8,119 Posted September 18, 2011 Report Share Posted September 18, 2011 when i get a minute ive got another alternator in the shed the rocker cover gasket needs replacing aswell the alternator is not too bad to do and its a self adjusting belt on it, if its the 1.9 mechanicle diesel mate the rocker cover is a c**t, need to remove the inlet manifold to do so, and its held on with torx bolts so make sure you dont f**k the heads or your deep in the shit, wee tip make sure the rubber "O" rings on the manifold branches are fitted correctly or you'll think its gonnae blow up! :laugh: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
