bobblehat 0
Bit confused, just bought a second hand cz452-2e ZKM in .22WMR, (on guntrader) the shop owner said he had misplaced the original magazine so he had bought another, this didn't fit(?) so he tinkered with it until it did and sent me the rifle, all fine and the mag fits but it dont bloody feed into the chamber!!! shop owner does not seem to have a clue, so my Q is why wouldn't it fit? surely they must be of a standard? have they changed the design> the rifle was manufactured in 1992 Quote Link to post
andyf 144
Any 17HMR/22WMR will fit, 'old' ones are steel, 'new' ones are (shite) plastic. Get a couple of spares from somewhere else, the 452 is a very good rifle, just throw a bit of money at the Mags. AndyF Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
The magazine should fit, not sure what tinkering he did but the WMR and HMR mags are identical for the 452, so they should be easy to find! Quote Link to post
HUnter_zero 58
Mags are dead easy to find/buy, my guess is that this RFD isn't a gunsmith, more a shop owner and may have damaged the rifle with his tinkering. John Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 495
CZmags.co.uk I got my spare mags from these people. The mag you want is £28.95 free p+p, that's a 10 round mag. They are a ballistic nylon polymer (plastic) but i have 3 in .22lr and 3 in .17hmr and have had no problems with them. Quote Link to post
markha 99
Right the new ZKM magazines are a completely different fit to the old CZ 17hmr and 22WMR magazines. I know as I have the new 455 17hmr and wanted a 10 round mag, my shop had plenty of 10 round mags in stock but all of them for the older CZ 17hmr and 22WMR. The tabs are in different places and the angle of the ramp is different, also the magazine shape is slightly different.. I have 2 plastic mags a 5 round and a 10 round, no problems with them so far, they feed well and they are taking the knocks OK too. If you need the old style magazine give Gwynedd Firearms a call as they have a shed load of them, including the metal ones. Quote Link to post
