BRIDGES AND CULVERTS MATE .....

ARE THE EASIEST PLACES TO GANG SET AS THEY ARE NATURAL FUNNELS AND PROBABLY MY MOST PRODUCTIVE , I CANNOT SEE THE ADVANTAGE OF A RAFT ? APART FROM PUTTING DOWN LESS TRAPS OR SNARES ......THE FALLING POINT WOULD BE FOR ME THAT IN MOST SUCH AREAS THE WATER SPEED CAN INCREASE MAKING IT HARDER FOR THE MINK TO REACH .... IVE WATCHED MINK GET TAKEN IN MY TRAPS AFTER SWIMMING IN SUCH PLACES AND THEY TEND TO BOB ALONG GUIDING THEMSELVES ALONG THE SIDES OF THE BRIDGE RATHER THAN SWIM ........LIKE ALL GOOD PREDATORS RETAINING AS MUCH ENERGY AS POSSIBLE FOR THE HUNT

ALL THE BEST

I got some plans online i will try and find them for you, basically a wooden tunnel with the trap end partially submerged and with mesh on the other end so the bait can be seen.i will look tomorrow for you.
