what marks out of ten would you give yourself when it comes to training a dog, or do you get a dog that has already been brought on ,and remember nobody is perfect so be truthfull.i would give myself a 7/10

na seriously, id say aboot 5 or 6, i have seen some seriously shit trained dogs, an some real robots...

could probs train mine to a higher standar, but i get what i want off them an in return let them be as independant as possible

On a good day, maybe 6/7. On most days somewhere around the 4 mark. . . . haha.

 

Depends i suppose what the numbers are to each folk. I seen some folk 'train' their dogs and though, very good, got to be a 9, then other who have just blown them out the water.

 

A lot i suppose is down to the dog. My excuse is that mine is an ignorant b*****d, so maybe i'm a 7 as a trainer, and he's a 4 as a learner.

ime new to the game but i would say ime a 5/6 ish.i do my best to understand what my dogs want but at the same time i push them very hard to get what i want from them

i once trained a lurcher i had he was so obedient like

a robot he would do anything jump anything stay blind stay

all the obedience but when it came to hunt i personally think

all the other training took it out of him.he seemed to always wait

for me to tell him what to do so now i only train to certain extent

so i be about a 6/7 i supose
