Guest busterdog
Theres tons of stevens dogs that bite, if i had to guess he'd be from the Duke side as they are b*****ds with this problem. A friend has one out of Crom and you can't fault him at his work but fcuk me once you've broken through he works you as hard as the game lol, i've even seen the same lad putting fox nets on to catch his own dog. He often says to people (much like the owner of Crom) if you can take him out of the run you can have him, he's ten years plus and he's still there. Attack Fell Terrier 864
... but maybe isolate him from family and friends MAYBE! What do you mean maybe? That should be a definite mate! If you can't keep him away from the kids then get rid of him to someone who can see to it that he can't bite anyone or failing that have him put down. At least make sure you keep him away from your nippers mate! I understand your position but f*ck me, get him away from kids if he's a c*nt. What ever the case best of luck with it, I hope you come up with a solution, sooner rather than later . Quote Link to post

It's all about pecking order AFT, if he bites the kids hard enough they'll fcuk off out the way and never do it again . If he was mine i'de take it slow, introduce him to the family bit by bit, no sharp moves or shouting. If this didn't work then simply keep him away, if he's from the Duke side i wouldn't hold your breath about him changing his ways . 1 Quote Link to post

Guest busterdog
Heres a dog i had to put to sleep last season, i had just bolted one with him and had dug him again at three foot or so, when i broke through there was two tubes coming away full of shite. I passed the dog up to a lad that had come along to watch, (i was out with hounds), i cleared the first tube and retried the dog, the dog said no, i passed the dog back up to the lad and made the mistake of telling him to watch how he handles him as he sometimes bites. I cleared the next tube and retried the dog yet again and again he said "no". This didn't go down well and i passed the dog back up and got on with clearing the tube where i thought the dog came from, i then heard a scream from the top of the dig and saw that the lad had passed the terrier to a twelve year old boy and the terrier took a lump out of his face . I took hold of the dog and asked the lad to calm down and show me the bite, he's put a three inch gash on one side of his neck, a puncture just above that and on the opposite side of his throat he'd done the same. This boy was rushed staight to hospital where his wounds were seen to and luckily he wasn't scared for life, the dog didn't leave the dig, all joking aside mate be very carefull.
