CWAFS 0
Hi folks, I'm Douglas, sole proprietor of Clearwater Work and Leisure aka Clearwater Army Surplus Store At the end of September 2009 whilst I was at Florida for my 50th, my warehouse at Shawfield was burgled (they came in through the roof). Eventually via the insurance ombudsman I received a paltry payment from insurers. The payment came far too late and the recession had really kicked in. My regular customers were out of work and sales slid by % in three years My warehouse contained £75,000 of Gore-Tex gear from Britain, France Germany and Holland - jackets, trousers and boots plus so many rare items from WWII and numerous Coleman tents, lanterns and stoves Someone out there in my trade has profited BIG TIME from this and I'm obviously very pissed off. At this time just over a year ago I had to exit 1016 Argyle Street. My asian landlords continued to charge me rent until 30th November 2011 For now I have a part time job on minimum wage but still operate the latest website from home (NO personal callers as wife has wee ones) www.clearwater-outdoor.com www.cwafs.com www.cafs.co.uk In good time, I'll be advertising with the Daily Record again Quote Link to post
