Thanks do your self a favour get a barrowed service in unless you batch your mix corretly and do your ground work 9/10 times you will have probs tell them it for a garage base that mix will sufice allow it to cure prop and it will be fine Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Its not that I didnt know the mix or how to do it just knowing how much of what to buy. Thanks again. I was quoted £245 plus vat plus another £300 if I needed the pump as you only get 30 mins to unload from a cement mixer. if u buy redy mix they will want 90 to 95 pound per cubic metre,2 men can barrow that easy in 30 min if not just slip driver a drink,if u mix it up 2.3 cube means approx 4tons ballast and 20 cement costing aprox 270 and hire of mixer if you havent got one.the only advantage of mix yourself is you can lay it a your own speed and get a nice finish.
